Ann S. Pepperman and E. Eugene Yaw, prominent members of the Lycoming Bar, have joined the firm. Ms. Pepperman has well-recognized expertise in numerous areas including real estate, commercial law, business mergers and acquisitions, health care law, estate planning, mortgage foreclosure and banking regulation and practice. Senator Yaw, a member of the Pennsylvania Senate, has become Of Counsel to the firm and will continue to practice primarily in the areas of municipal and education law. On September 22, 2009, Mr. Knecht, as 1 of only 43 attorneys and law firms in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, received a Pro Bono Award from the Pennsylvania Bar Association , the Pennsylvania Legal Aid Network and the Pennsylvania Bar Foundation in recognition of his direct legal services and exceptional public service of Pennsylvania attorneys.
In June of 2009, Mr. Knecht was elected to his third term as a Member of the House of Delegates of the Pennsylvania Bar Association.”

The inaugural Honorable Thomas Wood Jr, Equal Access to Justice Award was presented to Lycoming County lawyer William Knecht at the Lycoming Law Association's 2009 annual banquet. Danna Rich-Collins, of the Williamsport Legal Services office, commented on the decision to rename the award in memory of Judge Wood, and also on the stand-out work of Bill Knecht that led to his receipt of the award.
